Biography

S. Adam has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Aldrich Museum, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Albright-Knox Museum, the Bruce Museum, the Mattatuck Museum, and the Neuberger Museum. Her work is also in the permanent collections of Coopers and Lybrand Industries, Exxon-Mobil Corp, Hoffman Architects, Houbigant Perfume, and Pharmor Corp.

After receiving her M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati, she pursued fine arts as a career. Before devoting herself to painting full-time, she also spent time as a commercial artist, film animator, art restorer, and art teacher.

She lives in Connecticut where she maintains a separate studio.
